City Centre walks to put a spring in your step

Spring has arrived which means it’s time to ditch the big coat and get out and about and explore. If you’re new to the city or looking

Birmingham City Centre Walk
(3 miles) – New to Birmingham? Why not take a gentle stroll around the city centre and take in Birmingham landmarks such as Victoria Square, St. Phillips Cathedral, the Mailbox and the Library of Birmingham.

Jewellery Quarter Walk (3 miles)
Some parts of the famous ‘JQ’ date back nearly 250 years, and this dedicated conservation area is home to over 500 jewellery businesses today. Take this walk to explore one of Birmingham’s not so hidden gems.

Edgbaston Walk  (6.5 miles)
If you want to really stretch your legs, venture out to Edgbaston via Birmingham’s famous canal network, leafy walks and the historic Calthorpe Estate. If it gets too much, you can always stop off at one of the country pubs, or if you’re feeling fancy, the Michelin-starred Simpsons restaurant.

Country Walk in the City (4 miles)
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city centre living, take a trip into the city’s peaceful, green suburbs via tree-lined streets and stretches of the canal. And best of all? This route starts right outside your front door.
