First show homes launched at The Bank

Developer, Regal Property Group and funder, Aprirose, have opened the doors to the first show homes at their new development, The Bank located on Sheepcote Street, between Brindleyplace and Broad Street in Birmingham city centre.

Located in one of the city’s tallest residential buildings, the two show apartments give potential homeowners a glimpse into the high quality specification and contemporary design they can expect from The Bank.

The show apartments – one of which is a one bedroom property and the other is a two bedroom home – showcase the latest interior designs, with mustard hues and statement art used to bring vibrancy and style. Located on the 11th floor of the 21 storey building, the one bedroom apartment also showcases the enviable city centre views that purchasers can expect.

Kate Horton, Sales Negotiator from Knight Frank, said: “We’ve already had substantial interest in these new homes, with 70% of the properties sold from plan. Now the show homes are open, we’re expecting this demand to further increase as people can see the high standard of living for themselves.

“The residential market in Birmingham continues to thrive, especially as more companies, such as HSBC and PWC, are investing in the city and creating more jobs; thus increasing demand for city centre homes. The Bank addresses this demand perfectly.”

Boasting a luxurious specification, each apartment is fitted with a designer kitchen, complete with an integrated fan oven and electric hob, a washing machine and a fridge/freezer. Downlighting, Porcelanosa tiles and brushed aluminium fixtures all help to add a stylish finish.

When complete, The Bank will comprise two residential buildings – the first standing at 21 storeys high and the second at 33 storeys. Construction is now underway on the second building; with both buildings forming part of Birmingham’s new vertical city on Broad Street.

Mark Holbeche, from Regal Property Group, the developer behind The Bank, said: “With its golden exterior and great height, The Bank has already become an iconic landmark in Birmingham city centre.

“Launching the first show apartments is always a very exciting time for a new build development as it marks the next milestone in the process and signals the countdown to the first homeowners moving in. The show homes give a great insight into what life at The Bank could be like; offering modern design and the perfect balance between working and socialising.”

To date, The Bank has proven particularly popular with first time buyers – the majority of whom are young professionals working in the city – and investors. The first homeowners are due to move into their new apartment in June this year.

More than just apartments, The Bank has been designed with a 24 hour concierge service, private outdoor green open space and on-site bicycle storage facilities. Additionally, there is retail space on the ground floor of the building which is likely to become restaurants and a coffee shop and, from 2019, new homeowners will have access to a private gym in the second building at the development.

Prices for the new apartments start from £145,000 for a studio apartment and £181.000 for a one bedroom home. Only a handful of two bedroom apartments now remain for sale with prices starting from £245,750.
